Hello folks! There is an update on the preparations for the 10IATC !
We’ve started inviting keynote speakers for the 10IATC. Our first invitee is M. Antonio G. Alvarez (from USA).
Working with Nature (and play) and the Natural Setting in Adventure Therapy: Riding the Facilitated Wave.
At the 10IATC, Tony will present on the “Facilitated Wave Model.” This model offers an experiential process that mirrors the life process, guiding participants toward outcomes. He will delve into the six essential components of the model and focus on how to engage in this work both in nature and with nature, and what these interactions offer. He will also share insights from “The Stick Project,” demonstrating how a simple stick can be used as a tool for assessing, matching, facilitating, engaging, reflecting, and evaluating efforts. Attendees will gain practical strategies for integrating outdoor experiences into therapy to foster creativity, build relationships, and promote healing.
