Liyu Lake is a jewel in the East Longitudinal Valley. The surrounding mountains are reflected in the lake, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the beautiful scenery of both the mountains and water.

We will take the most direct route to the water to kayak around the lake, slowly approaching the birds perched in the treetops and enjoying the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle.

After enjoying local delicacies, we will put on our hiking shoes, grab our backpacks, and head toward the Liyu Mountain Trail. The rich vegetation of the low-altitude forest is home to various creatures, accompanied by the endless chirping of birds and the occasional appearance of Taiwanese macaques. A special highlight is climbing Liyu Mountain, which rises 601 meters above sea level, where we can overlook the Pacific Ocean and the famous Coast Mountains. This breathtaking view is the best reward for our efforts during the hike.
